where is the best places to get a good plasma tv hd ready but not paying top money, but not cheap rubish either. anyone got any sugestions. tried the philips center on line and they have some canny tv's but maybe someone knows a beeter place with better deals. thanks
Got mine at Dixons of all places, bought it this time last year (42" Hitachi) - they had a sale on ex-display models but I convinced the sales lad to get me a boxed brand new one out but at the sale price.
If you're wall mounting it, go to Amazon (I think had them) or Argos (defo has them) for a universal wall mount, Argos was half the price that Dixons was asking.

I found a great swivel bracket for my 42in on ebay. The bracket was very cheap but getting a company to fit them was a different matter£££££££

Our hitachi came with a powered stand that could rotate, never thought about flogging it - I just chucked the bugger when we had a clear out in the spring, telly was only on it for the first couple of days until I wall mounted it.
