World Gone Mad

Is it me or has the world suddenly gone mad. You turn on the news and all you hear at the moment is about murders and beatings etc. The guy in Sunderland, the goth girl beaten up because she was different, the shootings in the house today, the shoot out down south last week, the guy found outside of for your eyes only, the girl killed in newcastle last week, the guy killed in darlington recently, guys getting killed in Afganistan/Iraq.

The saddest though is the shooting of a totally inoccent 11 year old boy Rhys Jones - what is going on?

What a reality check for people. I think Liverpool FC were superb in their tribute to Rhys - playing their arch rivals tune in their stadium - wow.

Just goes to show in all this gloom there is a glimmer of hope for humanity.

It's not you mate, the world has gone mad and it's just gonna get worse unless more fitting punishment is handed out to the offenders, i.e. life means life etc.

Look at that Lee Hughes, imagine how the family of the bloke he killed are gonna feel when he's on the telly celebrating goals.

i know what you mean mate - the people in the know about prisoners are now on strike, the judges give pathetic sentences to those who have done wrong and a soldier gets 196k for being blown up and loosing both legs when a RAF civilian gets just short of 500k for a typing injury ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????

this country had being going mad for years now, its falling to peices, no wonder people are emigrating. we have to be tough with our laws now enough is enough, f**k the politically correct humans rights lot. in my eyes you lose all your human rights as soon as you commit crimes and especially murder, rape, atacks on our old folk and so on. when are we as the public gonna get off our arses and say that is it we have had enough. as wolfie smith once said "power to the people". we should be more like the french who do stand up for there beliefs

I think most people feel the same these days ,the way this country is ,anyone who works and contibutes to the running of the country is ignored and forgotten about because of the minorities who need all of the support and finance .

£676,000 for a prisoner who claimed he was not supervised properly in low newton when he tried to hang himself, was obviously cr*p at that as well cos he failed!! prisoners winning human rights claims becos they were forced to give up drugs when sent to prison for criminal offences!! INSANE. yet decent people cant have cancer drugs becos they are to expensive!!! INSANE could go on all day!!!

Not sure if these crimes have always been there or whether its getting worse,it certainly appears worse but you have to bare in mind we have 24/7 News coverage and they are on the spot quite quickly.....news sells.
You cant believe the Statistics you read about as they can be distorted to suit.

100 plus people a day are killed in Baghdad but if a better news story is available that gets forgotten about

As for Liverpool and Everton FC thats a great gesture but dont forget about all the other young people that have been murdered lately !
