LOL...this is turning into a right little "Cooks Corner"...who says we're not modern men?

Good job I've eaten tonight - which incidentally was oven roasted cherry tomatoes, black olives and basil with penne pasta and pecorino cheese (cooked by the missus) - otherwise I'd be starving
    Ooh a new vid!

if yopu want a great sunday lunch and are in york center try the "evil eye", wow!!!
three sizes of sunday dinner. large, even bigger and humongus. they do other food during the day and week, its worth a vist and the place itself is intresting bright colours, three floors high with a diffarent type of decor on each floor, they even have a chill out room
the food is A1 and that comes from our lass who makes one hell of a sunday lunch so it must be good

          check the link
Hidden on York's oldest street and under the Devil's gaze, you'll find an escape from the norms of York and a place to relax.

          cheers

Will try that one next time I am in York Mark, When we are there we always go to the Kapadokya Turkish restaurant very nice. My grandaughter loved the spicey meatballs (didn't mind them myself lol).

            Have a look. www.kapadokya-restaurant.co.uk

looks good jim, if you like that sort of thing you gotta try Kebabish on the west road just past the fire station. Its only new but all the food comes straight from the grills and tandoor ovens. Cracking bit of scran. Not your average curry.

they do a belta tandoori cod kebab!

              have a look http://www.kebabish-newcastle.com/

Cheer's Andy, not a great lover of Indian food but that looks a bit different. Will have to give it a go when I get sorted. Looks like a trip over with the sixfootstewardmackem will be on the cards.

I don't think so steve, its next to a 'no win no fee' insurance place on the same side as the fire station about 1/4 mile up. Its not that big, just looks like a takeaway from the front but has a cosy little restaurant upstairs.

The cod massala was awesome and a had it with some grilled tandoori lamb chops and a lamb biryani. I know what you mean about the parking, i was lucky enough to get parked right outside but still had an eye on it. Defo worth a look up tho mate if you fancy something a bit different.
