when I was about 4yr old and woke up to see my dad putting presents at the bottom of my bed after he went out the room I got up and went down stairs to be told santa hadn't been yet and to go back to bed but mam he must of been Ive got my presents think my dad had to much brown ale that year cos my mam was on a right one with him that year .

Lets face it Christmas is for children who's imagination and innocence is alive they believe what we as adults no longer believe.Because the majority of Christmas spirit for an adult comes out of a bottle. I for one would love to believe in all, at this magical time of year but alas I'm an adult with no young children so at least I could share some of there excitement on Christmas Day.
So I have now become a Grinch, a Scrooge a Bah Humbug kind of person.

I hear what you are saying Sid but it's not just for kids....it's the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and even if you are not a Christian then surely the message of peace and goodwill is a good one.

Ian I come from a canny religious family and I think over the years Christmas has become too commercialized to the kids of today its a day where they get presents and nowt else . anyway all the best and enjoy the day
