Hi John, I knew a couple of the lads out of Talisman, one lives very close to me still. Great lads and not a bad band either.

Another that I remember from that era was a band called Circus, not what you would really call a rock band but they were pretty damn good too. Released a couple of singles locally but never quite made it big, one of those singles was called Amsterdam, with P.P.P. pick up a phone on the flip side I think.

        Jim.

Cannot recall gary laverick john.what band was he in ? but you mentioned Lucas Tyson i new the guitarist well Pete Barclay(alias donkey cock) you may remember him long blond hair.a showman in his own rite. played a pre 63 fender upside down through a copycat always remembered as one of the best guitarists around in them days.

talisman.I have a tape lying around somewhere made one nite off the mixing desk.if i can dig it out and copy it il let u no.

Dave ditchburn sang some great Ballard's remember.

              Famous final sceen. bob segar

Talking to the moon. don henley (eagles drummer)

Wind beneath my wings. bet midler

Always used to ask him to sing Ghost riders the Geordie version. brill

Still some great bands around but now its pubs not the clubs better in my opinion.......(Excuse me but iv sat in that seet for the last 30 years.LOL.)
