Tull used to be one of my favourite bands in my youth......albums such as Stand Up (the one with the stand up cut-outs when you opened the sleeve), Aqualung, Thick As A Brick..........all excellent stuff.

Rhythmically & musically, you couldn't get a tighter band (despite all the line-up changes over the years), and Martin Barre is a much under-rated guitarist by the media......he's effin' magic in full flow.

They tended to go all "Dire Straits" in the '80s.......that's when I lost interest in them.

Loads of vids on YouTube, Bri............here's a couple of contrasting vids:

Thick As A Brick from 1978:
Enjoy the videos and music that you love, upload original content and share it all with friends, family and the world on YouTube.

And the later "Dire Straits" sound-a-like piece, "She Said She Was A Dancer:
Enjoy the videos and music that you love, upload original content and share it all with friends, family and the world on YouTube.
