Best place for us is just below the European spots we haven't got the squad for Europe but it's nice it see the scum nailed to the bottom just a few more nails needed
I agree, though if we're aiming for chamopions league spots we should be beating the mid-table teams like Man Utd by 2 or 3 .......

It must be pretty embarrassing having to admit to being a mackem so i can understand why they are too ashamed to post on here
Think Sunderland have been playing ok to be fair, under Poyet they look so much better and have been unlucky a few times - chance of getting out of the relegation zone still.
That said - Newcastle still aint safe!! although it would take something pretty spectacular to sink them now...such as Ashley gettin rid of half the first team in January and not being able to get the replacements over the line...

A couple of plucky defeats doesn't mean they're playing well though, the league table doesn't lie. If they don't get 3 points off west ham then they are doomed
As for us not being safe , a couple of weeks ago i may have agreed with you, not now, 100% record & clean sheets against spurs, chelsea & the current champions, nufc is looking up and not down this season

don't say that man! with a bit of luck we wont see or hear of ashley and kinnear for a while, quiet january window, lose no-one, aquire 2 or 3 good squad players,
like to see ba or carrol back, or gomis in, but can't see that happening.
either way we're looking ok at the minute and the mackems are right in the brown stuff.
