    I was gonna post the name of this group in the \"Fishy Links\" thread, but then had another thought..........

    What was the very first record you bought yourself ? (time to show your age now, eh ?)

    Mine was:

    (I was 6 at the time)

      I have only ever bought one record and that was Mr.Tamborine man by the Byrds.

        I hate to admit it but I think it was two Little boys by Rolf Harris, although if memory serves me well, it was actually bought for me, can\'t of been more than three or four at the time.
        If it doesn't bite its not worth catching!!!

            I think david Essex\'s first single was hold me close,that was my first single.First album Slade,can\'t remember the name but they were skinheads on the cover.

                  with a 50p record token I got for christmas - Slade, Merry Christmas Everybody, also bough a cleaning cloth and got change from me 50p token! - the year 1973!

                  Thought for the day:
                  Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

                        Yeah right, another brick in the wall!!!!!, why did you wait till 1980 when you were 25 to buy your first record then Dave, we all know your not the puppy you think you are.

                          I can\"tremember the first single I bought but I can remember walking home from the hairdressers in1973 and having to take a single (Life on Mars) back to the shop where I bought it because it was scratched. The look on the womans face when I walked in with orange hair is something that will live with me for ever.
                          Remember, some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.
