  • Drinking straws and wool?

Does anyone know where I can buy some of those short, red, rigid drinking straws (the ones that used to come with those sealed cups of juice that you had to stab the straw through the top of?)

And also, does anyone know of any shops that sell wool in South Shields or surrounding areas?

    Rob,

There used to be a wool shop on the ground floor of pearl assurance house in South Shields.

From memory it is right on the corner next to the bus terminus. Not sure if it defo still open.

    It's been a while since I knitted oot!!! ;o)

Not sure where youd get the straws - Wilkinsons maybe!

    Cheers

            Revolutionary, but hardly new Norman!

Settled on some very small bore red air line from work, which should last a bit longer and was considerably cheaper!!
