Hi all.
I've just been reading an article about a new reel Penn are releasing onto the market very soon. Since they brought out the Penn Mag2 range (I've owned and used both a 515 & 525 mag2, both cracking reels), I've always pondered if they would revamp the ever popular Penn 535, which to me is still the daddy of rock fishing reels.
I'm happy to say the new reel they are bringing out is the new Penn 535 Mag2! Mike Thrussel of TSF and WSF had been testing the prototype of this reel, and now after testing the actual finished product, all I can say is his review is very good, and Penn themselves have made the reel brilliantly at first glance, no longer does it have that stubby "nobby" mag system, but has an intergrated mag system just like those found on the 515 & 525 mag2 models.
Think this will be a definite investment in the near future for the cliffs/rocks!!!
