It's also funny because we hear the mackems banging on and on about what good support they have, high sixing each other about the 0-3 and calling us horse punchers, blah blah blah! Truth is Sunderland is a small town in Durham, and will always be in the shadows of nufc, They never even manage to sell out their stadium! i was at the stad de shat last season, there were a lot of empty seats, and that's the derby! I dare bet a lot of so called mackems on here don't even go to the matches. (one of 5under1ands biggest supporters. big phil , didn't even know they played arsenal at home yesterday!!) the other ones will complain at rising costs, which is a fair point, and it is a lot of money, but the same lads will manage to go out for a few pints..... even nial quinn had a pop at the supporters for watching the home matches on illegal streams in local pubs, with their blue cola & cheesy chips. And one of the so called supporters comes on here bragging about watching illegal streams! Carry on PDC, you're doing a great job.......
do you go to all the home and away games MARRA ?

Don't have the time or money MARRA, 16 league home games last season, all european home games only 2 away games due to work & family commitments, (managed a few more away games the season before) no European away games due to wife not letting is! (both derbies home and away)

Hope to do 4 or 5 away games this season, great lads days out

        Why do you ask MARRA?

          nearly as interesting as fishing.

how many games left till end of the season.

punching horses bet theres none at nufc now apart from joe kinnears circus.

little wee club up the road think that remark was made from sir alex furguson god of football
          regarding nufc.

got no worries at all for sfc none whatsoever.

nufc supporters only sing when they winning fact.

genuinely curious to know, as it all the time when the handbags come out..

'small club' 'Newcastle's a smaller club than Sunderland' etc etc not just on here but you see/here it quite often, the whole 'they are a smaller club than us' from sunderland fans

serious question, what's the logic/origin in that?

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

radio mainly MARRA, or the local club with a couple of pints, very rare use streams, never seem to be very high quality.

You feel free to watch whatever you want marco lad, you won't get a bite from me, just don't bang on about being great supporters of a great club when you'd rather watch a stream because it's easier than having to actually make the effort of going to the ground, Even your then chairman commented on it!

                      HaHa,
the "wee club" was ferguson wasn't it,the mackems will state they have won more league titles than us, few times in the 1800's! and a couple of times 1920's or 30's, and a couple of fa cups, we won the league 4 times in the early 1900's and 6 fa cups.

The mackems have a chip (maybe a cheesy one) on their shoulders, they will always be in nufcs shadow, as even though neither team have had any recent success, nufc have been premier league runners up twice, fa cup finalists, played champions league football, numerous european campaigns, and shown real ambition in the transfer market, sjp regularly sells out, stad de shat doesn't. Even on holiday they get asked "where's sunderland", "near Newcastle is the reply"
sunderland is so small they don't have their own airport, more of a town than a city.

Hope that answers your question, The only people who would ever class 5under1and as a bigger club than newcastle are mackems, deluded ones at that, Everyone else in english, european and world football know's the truth!

Not sure what constitutes a "big club", trophies? crowds? turnover? who knows.

Both north east clubs have great support both home and away, staggering really given the dross served up most weeks.
                        Cheers, Keith.

There's a difference between watching on a foreign satellite system and an illegal stream you know?

"Most" ILLEGAL streams are poor quality and a waste of bandwidth. But obviously we have a resident expert on here that uses them all the time rather than actually going to the games..

Was only a few weeks ago the mackems were saying how di canio was just the man for the job, how all his signings would fit in well etc etc.

Now five games in and we are getting excuse after excuse and how they aren't sure about him.

                            Loyal? Fickle more like?
