Fishmonger Rob Latimer has a prize catch on his counter - a swordfish hauled in just two miles off the South Tyneside coast.
It's only the second one Rob has heard of being caught in North East waters in the last five years and is certainly a long way from the fish's natural habitat.
They are normally found in tropical climes of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans and would rarely stray into the chilly North Sea.
