I've just watched the last episode of Rex Hunt fishing adventures ,I'm not sure why it's having the plug pulled after 14 years but I'm gutted . I was speaking to my mate in Melbourne and apparently Rex has had some major problems that the press have jumped on big time , if you call getting caught with a high class hooker ( alledgedly) a major problem that is .

I believe a study suggests that returning the fish the way Sexy Rexy does, stimulates the fish more (shock tactics prodably) and that is why if you notice they dart awayAlanComment

quite correct alan forces oxygenated water through the gills stimulating the fish to recover faster. in his defence he has explained why he did this on many occasions. from a personal point of view i could watch his programs all day his enthusiasm for our sport is infectious and the scenery where the programs are made is fantastic, real escapism!
doubt he would ever have filmed a show on lynemouth beach mind!!Comment
