    Doing the C2C Barrow-in-furness to Sunderland (seaham) due to air show on. Should be a good weekend weather is spot on and i'm sure the pints of lager will be cold on route. Raised £280 for Male Cancer charity so very happy with that.

        if you take the track route over the fell out of rookhope rather than road route out of rookhope, say howdy! you'll be crossing the end of my garden!

          Well lads been a All arms commando when I was young and doing some crazy stuff in my time like 20 mile yomps for fun I can easily say the W2W was by far the hardest thing I've ever done. The hills are relentless especially from Kendal to Tanhill :-( If you do it you need to train on the hills and plenty of them :-) all in all though a very good few days out, raised lots of money so very happy. Done 158 mile in total

            Not sure how you broke it up but I found the last day to be really tough. We did:

            1) Barrow -> Orton
            2) Orton -> Barny
            3) Barny -> Sunderland

            The final day, I'd been drinking until 5 a.m. which probably didn't help matters.
