    forgot to add in my report, in the harbour at Puerto del Carmen there are two huge rays must be 200lb, which regularily come into the shallow water along the quay wall, what an incredible site

          keith, actually videod it but it is not vety clear, due to the reflection off the water surface, apparently when the tuna boats come in and start gutting they come up and feed off the offal. No sless did not see him, anyway there are lots of no swimming notices around, wonder why.

                  hello alan
                  them rays have been in there for years.
                  about ten year ago i was fishing for mullet andf an old wife said to me have you seen the big flattie thaught it was prob a turbot os a couple of pound till it was under my feet whilst perched on the dock side nearly ponied my self when i saw the size.
                  off to lanz next week cant wait.

                        Tony though about having ago for them but i dont think my spinning rod would take the strain. have agood time and lets know where you go and if you fish. Going back in Feb, but to a different area, mind the place is so small it dosnt matter where you go only a short drive to anywhere you fancy.

                          no where really, just couldnt be a**ed and i went to salou a fortnight ago....and decided to pop in and see how things are going....am ill with the flu at the min
