Could be worse, we could be spending loads on a number of "unknowns".

Saying that, they look canny players for life in the championship

11.34 million in sales with 12.452 million spent oldest player being 26 9 players in total 4 being strikers as we struggled for goals last year . Newcastle on the other hand 3 players out for 735k no replacements for a struggling team is the fat cockney hard up again? See if ya sponsors will do a pay do loan for the team. But saying that even when you lot try and buy some points you fail. P.s your best player danny simpson who was the 5th best defender in the league last year left for free great business

          HAHA, nice statistics

          Best get your excuses in early to explain why you's are bottom after 10 games;

1- too many new players, team hasn't gelled yet.

2- need time to adjust to speed of the premier league

3- Need time to adjust to dicanio's tactics

4- Still too many of previous managers buys in the squad.

5- Lopsided team with too many forwards

          6- etc etc etc

get you "facts", from here Sunderland AFC - Player changes, player transfers 2013/2014 - transfermarkt.co.uk

load of mostly unknowns and unproven's, just like I said.

a goalkeeper with 15 Premier league appearance's in 5 years, and a striker who scored 1 goal in 28 last time he played here!!!

              Theres some "facts" for you

No what you stated was spending a load of money on unknowns. I am confident sunderland will have a good season this year i am dicanios biggest critic but he has answered all of my questions forwards check another midfielder check another defender check goalkeeper check I would prefer to spend 12 million on a few "unknowners" than chucking millions and 100ks a week on has been or wanabees it means our scouts have been out looking not reading papers. Roll on the 27th of oct

Phil what the punters up the road don't realise is our head scout was in place long before di canio was appointed, this is why these supposed unknowns were already in place,Valentino angeloni didnt scout for inter Milan cause he was ****e,I believe we have stoll the march on a lot of the clubs due to good behind the seens planning.pop robson new nothing about recruting players.just another little comment,Kieran Westwood is a country mile better ball distribution than minolet and I have no worry s about him been our nos 1 but don't be fooled into thinking mannone is a donkey.cant wait for the season to begin, hope Alan and joe up the road can give yous lot up the road something to look forward.

I think both teams will be in a relegation battle again to be honest.

Newcastle continue to shoot themselves in the foot off the field & Sunderland look to be next seasons QPR in my opinion.

Hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look to good at the minute.

What makes you think that blanked Iam quite aware a team is eleven players.QPR were a differnt sinario Fernandez had his arse well spanked big players on mega contracts that came to a struggling team, look at the managers there was nearly more of them than players, all of our new players are training together will have a full pre season together so how can you pass comment like that, as I said the grey white hope and jokin kinnair will sort your team out
