  • My pay pal account

    I have just had an email about my pay pal acount which was in my spam folder I am suspicious about it as normaly my pay pal email always go to my in box, I have not opend the link.
    This is what the email says,what should I do what do you think I should do.
    In order to become "old & wise", you must first be young & stupid.
    Age and experience will beat youth and enthusiasm every time.
    Youth and Skill is no match for Age and Treachery.

    I had them bwfire saying your paypal needs updating to stop suspension and stuff just spam mate

        if in doubt forward to spoof@paypal.com they respond pretty sharpish

        bet it said 'dear paypal user'

        and not 'dear mad as a fish' or whatever.

        proper ones will always address you by name. phishing ones hardly ever do

          theres also an ebay email doing the rounds , I avoid them all the time , they usually go to an email address I don't even have set up on paypal , so I know them to be bogus.

            get them quite often, haven't even got a pay pal account, along with other ones, just dump em

                  They're phishing sites mate, basically a cloned version of the real Paypal site, soon as you enter your details it all gets logged back to there email accounts with your user password ect

                    Cheers matey, I deleted it even if I had opend it I would not have put my details in as I thought it was dodgy anyway.
