Lots of people have different views, it seems since they are making them abroad now there appears to be a quality issue, i have 2 of them and bought them when they first came on the market and can't fault them, i have the 14ft 5-7oz.Comment

Got an sk3 and dont have a problem with it but I dont use it on the rough stuff just piers and mixed ground.Nothing makes a fish bigger than ALMOST being caught

sonik sk 3
I've got a SK3 it snapped last weak 9'' from butt section, I rang Sonik in Blyth and there replaced bottom section of rod free with no hassle. I liked rod more before it snapped but like the no hassle warantee they give. I have the SK3 13ft it casts great with a multiplier. Fingers crossed it last a long time.

my sk4 snapped on me . cost 45 pound to replace the top section i agree its a lovely rod but if this one goes never again

Used the 14ft version with the reel up and had no problems what so ever , I was a iffy about buying one hearing a few bad reports but the price and guarantee sold it , used it for a year now and going to get another , pulled four sets of gear in from the Tyne in a 20 min battle and no problems , don't know if ya had a big cod as there's nen aboot :-)Originally posted by Seanovash View Post

i know 3 lads who have had a sk3 one snapped at the but another snapped in about 4 places and the other does nt use it lolComment

To snap a rod at the but you have to be using it wrong or abusing it badly I've snapped 2 rods at the tip over the years one penn and an Abu but looking back I was giving them some tugging when they snappedComment
