in ireland they have banned commercial bass fishing for 3 years why cant we do the same bass fishing in ireland has become exceptional a ban in this country would give bass stocks a chance to thrive and stop all the money hungry net chuckers who couldnt care less if they took every bass out off our waters aslong as they get their pound of flesh.and also give us true fisherman a chance to catch this fish in our local waters without worrying if these guys are going to find out where and when we catch them before they go along and demolish the lot.if it worked in ireland theres no reason it cant work here.

yeah i was watching henry gilby or whatever his name is on tv other day bass fishing in ireland, there bass stocks seem very healthy he caught loads.

Your spot on mate i have been to ireland last 3 years for a week there is a total bass ban from 15Th April till 15Th June shore angling included no bass taken at all this has done stocks the world of good the bass fishing is CLASS going for 2 weeks next year cant wait
