SinkerLight High Powered Area Light Fishing Weight

A customer of mine who designs and manufactures diving lights amongst other things has come up with an idea for an illuminated fishing weight. I mentioned he might get some feedback ( positive or negative ) from the forum. It has just been launched on Kickstarter so if interested you can take a look. An article will be in Sea angler this week I am told.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, good or bad.

it would be a non-starter for me purely on price,but if i was a competitive person,i might try one--will they be allowed on competitions????? IF they work from shore,why not from a boat--

dont see the point, just stick a cheap tip light on does the same job
