We used to buy the bare mould, then drill a couple of holes in it and screw 2 file handles onto them, that was back in the 70's when i worked at the pit, Happy Days
Not sure about the handles, but I think it was 38 year ago, when me dad brought home a mould just like it. The handles on ours were wooden, but as remember they were shorter and varnished.
There was one on the antiques road show 7 weeks gone Sunday with the same handles, sure the guy that valued put it about 1970,s said they were massed produced and were 3and6 in old money but there worth about £1 now the advice he give was SELL IT before the value drops
