I've used little else for the past several years & rate it highly in all the diameters I use - 0.35, 0.40 & 0.50. I like the red stuff but that was discontinued a couple of years ago so I'm using up the last of my stock. It's still made but just in clear & gold/yellow so guess I'll be buying that in future.

      p.s. - a 10 kilo spool?? that's a helluva lot of line!

aye thats what it says 10kg/20lb 950m 0.40 diameter! its wider than a standard 4oz spool but the same hight mate! filled my two gmags with it from the backing and it still looks like i aint made a dent haha!

It's rubbish mate, in facty it's so crap I'll do you a favour and take it off your hands if you want

As said bloody good line, casts really well and good abrasion resistance, omly down side is it can be a bit stretchy making it a pain when you have to pull for a break. But all in all a cracking line

I'm guessing here but I reckon 10kg is the breaking strain. I used to buy kilo spools of line when I was field casting and they are bloody huge. A 10 kilo spool would be massive

Think the 10kg on the spool means the strength of the line not the size of the spool. If you have got a 10kg spool though he's a generous friend as it would be over £100 worth of line

Lol yeah, a 10 kilo spool would have been about the size of a beer barrel

I use the yellow 37lb .50mm diameter straight through on the rocks and love it!

Had a bad spool that was snapping very easy but only the one and not had a problem since.
I also love Berkeley trieline big game but can never find any when I need it.
