HORNSEA SAC OPEN MATCH REPORT
28TH DECEMBER 2006
Hornsea SAC held its Annual Christmas Open the HCF Cup Open match on Thursday 28th December 2006. 136 Anglers took part in near ideal conditions fishing the last 1 ½ Hours of the flood with 4 ½ down on a 5.4 mtr tide.
There were reports of good bags of Codling on Wednesday so hopes were high of a decent weigh in for this Penn Sea League match
The scales men were not disappointed when Andy Barmby from Bridlington, who fished at Out Newton using Gully Lug tipped with White Rag brought a mixed bag of Cod and Whiting to register 7.52Kg and win £300 for the Biggest Bag pool.
The Biggest Fish result showed that the Codling were well spread.
