  • Bank Hol Mon @ River Wear

Fished the full flood just up from Glass Centre, with Grant and James. (YOUNG FISHFINGERS)
Was a perfect day to be on the river. It was a quiet 1st hour, James pulled in a small coley, I had 2, 33cm Flounder in quick succession and Grant pulled in 1 slightly smaller, (on his RY TYRAN, fished with a 3oz lead and 2 hook flapper) good sport!!!
That was the end of the flounders for the day!!! I later had 5 or 6 small Coley, aswell as James pulling in a double shot of them. A new mark for me, and deffo somewhere ill be fishing again for abit of easy fishing.
Just sitting back now and praying that these fish turn on, for my 1st Boat Trip of the Season on Board the AliCat this Sunday!!!
    Tight Lines, STEVEO.

Some canny fish there mate. I was down there last week. It's nice and peaceful and you can get the car canny close. The glass centre gives you a bit cover from the north easterly winds as well.
                      All the gear, no idea.

Lol. I mate. Cracking little mark. Thought we might of had a few more flounder but summer species seem to be a month behind schedule this year.
