  • Walkway 14/04/13

Fished the Walkway this morning 2.30am until 8am over high water and first light. Baits rag, mackie and bluey. I arrived to find that my rag was half dead as it was three days old so I didn't have much confidence in it. Two hours passed without a thing not even a knock and I was just about to pack up and go somewhere else when I caught a small coley. Things picked up from then with plenty of knocks and a few fish and crabs and not much seaweed today. Final score was 4 codling, 4 coleys, 1 dab , 1 eelpout and 6 crabs. So a close run game but the crabs got it. Fish were caught on all three baits.

Yeah pretty sheltered while the wind was southerly but once it turned to south west it blew my bait box up the path
