    I see the work has started on repairing the North Pier. After previous experience of this, I won't be holding my breath for it reopening. At least somethings happening.

    Get Mad Rob in. He'd have it sorted in no time!

      damm right m8 need the work and i would let any one fish it as i worked 2 keep me company and also i would have a rod out lol but this time i hope they do it right cos theres matireals they could use and that will be that but its down 2 money ? in my book do it right first time and u save money tarmac is a no brainer shud nt be used just look at the state ov the roads

        Couldn't agree more!! But isn't it just typical of Sunderland Council to do a half arsed job and then seem surprised when all the repairs are knackered again in no time at all.I'll bet if they subbied the work out you'd get a decent job done at a fraction of the price and in half the time....anybody got a cement mixer and genny!!
