New rod bought, any feedback lads?

Ive just bought a Leeda Icon ultra power 13 ft beach rod, I was just wondering if anyone has got or used one and got any points or feedback on it? Ive read and been told its a robust all round rough ground/ beach rod.

I paid £170 from Sport & Leisure in Blyth, Northumberland. Ive seen them for a bit cheaper online but sometimes its nice to have your new toy straight away and not wait for it!

True but they do dilivery next day any ways if you lyk the rod and it caching fish than dnt matta on price

New rod

I BOUGHT A 16 foot SOLAR POLAR BEACHCASTER OFF EBAY. PAID £99 THIS ROD PUTS A LEAD OUT TO THE HORIZON , BUT USED TWICE AND I FEEL THE ROD IS TO LONG FOR ME AND IT HAS A THROUGH ACTION SO WHEN YOU CAST THE TOP TWO SECTIONS LOAD UP AND IT REALY DOES CHUCK A LEAD OUT. I PERSONALY LIKE A STIFF ROD LIKE MY 13.6 old centuary so the long rod dont suit me at all . IF BOUGHT FROM A SHOP YOU GET TO SEE AND FEEL BUT OFF EBAY YOU DONT SO YOU ARE STUCK WITH IT. ITS ONE OF THOSE THINGS WHEREYOU MAY HAVE PAID MORE BUT YOU GOT THE OPTION TO LOOK AND FEEL BEFOR YOU PAID , BUT THEY A REALY GOOD PIECE OF KIT YOU HAVE PURCHASED AS MY MATE HAS THE SAME AND HE LOVES IT.
