    One day left

    Having 4 days off work for the first time in ages I decided to get some fishing in from Friday. Hasn't gone as well as I hoped.
    Friday four hours at Hebburn 1 fish.
    Saturday six hours on SS pier 0 fish.
    Sunday 3-4 hours at the Walkway 1 fish.
    Today I ended up at the Walkway after going down to Roker and finding it shut.
    One small codling caught trying a variety of baits and hook sizes. I met Phillysafc from here, good to meet you mate and thanks again for the bait needle. Even if I didn't catch much still a canny day out and some good craic.
    I've got a cheek putting this in CATCH reports

        As I said, one day left. Going to give it another go today. Even though I've caught next to nowt it's been great getting out a few days in a row.

          Nice report Mark just unlucky with the fish, you still caught a few though. Reading these catch reports or non catch reports lol, I'm thinking of going out myself.

            Nice to meet you mark , canny craic to :-) I'll put a few picks on mate , had 7 fish , 3 small codling 2 flounders small coalie and a granny , canny day , hope you do well today

              Nowt again today from the pier. I think I'll take up rock climbing or hiking, this fishing lark has been awful for me lately. Still the fresh air good for me.

                  There were a few rods out on the pier when I was there. Didn't see anyone else with a fish either, it's been poor on the pier in daylight lately.

                    Being a sucker for punishment I headed down the Tyne after work today for a few hours with bait left over from the weekend. One undersize codling caught and a few bites missed, used the light gear but not much sport on it. Nice weather to be out this evening and no wind. Still got some worms left that a lad gave me on the pier on Sunday, might do the same tomorrow. Mon the fish!!!

                        I love my fishing, catching or not. It's a good job I don't have to feed the family with it, lately they'd have starved!

                            eelpouts are starting to get cult status,will soon be more popular than bass haha; wait till you catch a big fat one and it drops it live young all over the deck haha,fishing must be desprate never seen so many blennys caught and put on camera,will have to take them of the banned list for club comp. hahaha. davy.
