  • SSP slab

Fished the slab on South Shield pier today for 3 hours, freezing cold wind severe on the hands. Managed to catch a 3lb, sorry 3 inch codling, smaller than some baits I have used ! Also got 2 small flatties. Better than a blank I suppose but thought it might have been better with the sea on.

just cos there was no fish there before does not mean to say there wont be now m8, there is still codling to be had but it will be hard work where into middle of march nearly so be very patchy but if you put the effort in am sure you will find 1 or 2.

i wil be out tonight in the freezing cold hoping for a codling or 2.

Your right one session isn't the same as the next but I couldn't be chewed to fish in that cold wind I'll wait till it dies down a bit
