Good report Joe nice to see fish starting to show up.

I have tried fishing isomes in the dark but blanked I guess the visual aspect is very important not just the amino acid scent so there needs to be daylight. I've tried them on three daylight sessions now fishing them on a flapper rig. I caught nothing at two of those but caught a codling on a pink XL isome at the other one. I'm not convinced yet but I will certainly be trying them some more in the coming weeks. I have to anyway cos I bought loads of packets lol

You'd catch fish in a puddle. Always trying new ideas might have to pinch some off you.

I think your right about the visual aspect it seems to be the flatties that like them and you know what they like for spoons and beads be interesting to see what the bass and pollock think of them

I'm going to give them a try when the weather improves ie bright and sunny and the water is a lot clearer see if it makes any difference

Nice report mate and puts to bed the say so of using them isome worms stationary being pointless like.

That's what I tried Pete bait against rubber stationary but you know fishing what works one tide doesn't the next but it's just another arrow in your bow so to speak that's why fishermen all have different ideas because it's what you find to work
