Just had a couple of hours at Frenchies, fished over high water in very strong east/ southeasterly winds. Snow and hail going sideways and very hard work. Only managed to hook into one fish and that dropped off on the lift, wasnt big probs a couple of pound max. Seas are massive and wind is increasing in strength, few lights on Shields and Tynemouth pier but i wouldnt be going on if you want to stay dry!

Fished Whitley beach Friday night in the same conditions for one 3lb fish,we must be mad haha
