    Finally got one out !!

    After months of trying to get back up to speed after many years of not fishing I finally got a decent one out today from Hendon Prom. I have been getting my share of fish but all small stuff but went out today only expecting whiting with the calm conditions and managed a nice Coddy of 2lb 3oz. Got two tommy codling and a Dab too but the nice 2lber was the icing on the cake. First proper Coddy of the season for me ;-) Now I need to catch up with Rocker

    ABU 484 MK I (cork) (1976)
    ABU 484 MK II (Foam grips, spigot) (1977)
    ABU 484C original guides version (1978)
    ABU 484CS Fuji guides version (1980)
    ABU 9000C (1976) upgraded bearings
    ABU 9000 The red one (1974) upgraded bearings
    ABU 7000 (1976) converted to 7000C hybrid ceramic

        Well done mate, got your rewards for keeping at it. Sure there will many more and bigger ones to come. Will have to go some to catch up with Rocker though..probably need a net.

              Pic attached ... and that is the reel I was using, 7000 converted to 7000C and ABU 484 Atlantic zoom, both 36 years old and still in good nick ..

                nice dnr matta what gear are haw old it is mate still caches fish is main thing av got a old diwia moonraker my best ever rod
