me and m8 fished from 7.15 till 2pm both blanked ...not even a bite between us and we tried every combination of baits ... sea was flat and it does need a good blow and guess what? on our last cast a bloody great seal popped its head up about 5 yards from us and i,m sure it was laughing at us.... roll on thursday for next sesh... ..loving this retirement!!!!!!!!

being honest; youll always be wasting your time fishing the midleton in those conditions.

it could be better on there this weekend if the forecast winds put any movement on.

if its been flat for a while...... expect a couple of undersize fish at best.
