Had a few hours at the barrier this evening to use up the leftover bait from the weekend. 4 hours fishing and had one solitary bite on the last cast that didn't hang on.
Very poor fishing, lads walking down from the end said there were loads of Whities but I stuck it out where I was hoping for a codling but it was not to be.
Think I might have to head for the Tyne at the weekend just to remind myself what a fish looks like
, thats three blanks in my last four sessions interspersed only by a palm sized Dab.
