  • blyth pier 23.12.12

We got there around 7 and the sea was rough as f**k and blowing a gale. We were the only ones ther at this point but decided to stick it out and hope the wind died down. There was myself, steve79 from on here and one other lad (graeme) not a member. Within the first couople of hours we had 11 fish. Stephen 3 whiting (2 sized) , Graeme 1 whiting and myself 5 whiting, 1 flattie and eventually a 1lb13 codling! We then persued for another 4.5 hours amd caught ****all although we did have a good few bites.
Theres was a few other lads pn the pier by this time with a few cods think the lads on the end caught a 4.5lber, but they derseved it for braving it out and not running when that large container ship came flying past the pier sideways narrowly missing it! Lol
