Fished Tynemouth Friday night and had 1 codling out about 6 inches long grrrrrrr! The conditions were spot on but I think it was just one of them nights when expectations were high, but it wasn't to be.
Sat night was a different story, had some bait left over from the Friday so thought I'd go and have a few chucks to use it up, good choice.
. Managed to pull out 3 codling and 2 whiting, codling of about 2lb, then one of about a 1lb, then 2 whiting and then last cast with my last couple of worm, 1 which I weighed, a nice cod of just over 6lb
Would just like to say a big thanks to a lad I met from Heaton called Peter, he was fishing next to me and hand balled my fish up. He didn't just do that, he even gave me some worm for a couple more casts seen as I had just used my last, top bloke, good crack and much appreciated
. Hopefully I can return the favour some time.
Oh! and all fish bar the biggest, which is ready for chips were all safely returned.
