  • The Leas this morning.

    Well.... fished the Leas today, had 4 sized codling, biggest at 3 1/2lb. Bit of a pain draging it up the rocks lol. All taken on lug/mussel cocktails. Biggest kept for the pan and other put back. Got my surfboard out for next week.... catch a few waves then back into the coddies once the sea drops off again. Only lost one set of gear which must be a record for me!!! Defo ready for my next trip out.

    PB. Ling - 12lb 6oz. Cod - 11lb 6oz, Coley - 3lb 6oz, Pollock - 4lb 1oz, Flounder - 1lb 11oz, Plaice - 1lb 10oz, Whiting 1lb 9oz.

    North east bass fishing addict.

      welldone looked canny thier this morning we were going to go to the north row,s but ended up on the pier

        is that the leas in shields mate?

          Well done mate, haven't seen you on here for a while. Good to see you're in among the fish. No pics?
          I fished Hebburn from 7 this morning, just small stuff and a flatty caught. Looks like you did much better. Bet it was a bit blowy along the Leas.
          People who live in glass houses have to answer the door.
