Glass Centre 08/12/12

Had a trip to the Rathouse at 8.30am and saw there was nowt catching and seeing that Roker pier was shut Me and my son went to The Glass Centre.Bait used was Rag,lug ,mackeral and squid and we got bites from the off, loads of small codling on my scratching rod with a 2 hook flapper rig,also loads of small whities and coalies all under sized and returned.Only managed 2 sized fish .. both whities one of which was kept as it was a decent size 1.5lb.Thought it was a lot bigger as I pulled it in with a crab but still an enjyable morning out.Had another rod out with a pennel rig with big squid and lug cocktails came back untouched,all fish caught on rag/lug and mackeral.
