  • Blyth Beach 6/12/12

me and a mate fished blyth beach thursday morning, got there around 6am and fished until around 12, wasnt much about but we both caught fish. my mate caught first with a lovely 7lb Cod and then i caught about a hour later with a 2lb Bass. Nothing else caught while the tide was going out, we were both happy with the fishing trip and was better than sitting in the house

we had a few baits but could only use two. we had mackeral, mussel, frozen lug and rag. the mackeral and mussel were frozen still even though we took them out the freezer the night before so we just used the lug and rag together on the hook. suppose the mackeral and mussel will come in handy next trip out lol,

Cheers, is that the car park before the one you would turn in towards the docks to park at for the pier?

That's a good winter bass mate. My best off Blyth beach was 5lb 1 but that was the start of summer two years ago.
Walkwoth beach is good for bass in the summer.
