  • Lynemouth Beach Sunday night 2nd Dec

Fished Lynemouth beach on sunday night and caught 4 codling and a bass. The biggest was 4lb 4ozs and the smallest 2lb 2ozs. Baits used were lugworm, frozen crab and mussel. All fish were caught on lugworm. When gutted the fish had a mixture of shrimp, small white fish and small eater crab in them. The bass was returned.

I have recently started to fish this area with some guidance from Brian Jackson and it's a cracking fishing venue when the sea is running. It was a great nights fishing.

My mates Brian Jackson and Steve Maw also had a couple of codling out.

    Regards Rushy

Well done mate on getting a few out.
Me and 2 others fished Lynemouth last night 3 till 9 and struggled.
I got a small flounder, 2 mates blanked. baits were coming back untouched.
