headed to hendon prom at 4 stopped for an hour not a bite
so headed back to the old trusty roker pier to be honest not expecting much as reports been a bit poor and the sea flat as ....
fished it down to low water with the odd whiting getting caught
then in the space of 2 hrs low water mad robs rod was like a magnet for cod pulling 3 out in no time about 1 3/4 lb, 1 1/2 lb, and 3/4lb not massive but all nice healthy fish
jealousy is not the word boys same rigs ,bait everything but none for me again again and again
met micky quayle down there again nice bloke
then bang a different bite for me , struck im in its a better fish only to be a very large whiting again
all codling released to grow big n fat took 3 sized whiting home for fishy cakes but from midnight to 5 this morning it was dead as a door nail only a dab not a bite in 5hrs between 4 of us on the end
there was a few codling and lobsters caught
baits used yellows, muscle, rag and macky
