    codfather145,mad rob and myself fished 10.30 till 5
    started off on the beach inbetween the ratty and roker pier i crab
    so moved to the ratty were getting knocks for an hour but couldnt conect
    so descided to change from 3/0 pulley pennel rigs down size to 1/0 flappers which proved to work straight away
    mad rob with the world record for the smallest cod caught on a 3/0 hook

    all fish under size but good sport as nothing big getting brought up except for the monster crabs
    i got a flounder for the species hunt too

    we had codling,coalies,flatties and whiting all small but better than blanking
    baits rag, lug, runny,muscle and something smelly and rotton (good bait worked a treat) our secret boys .......

    If I only had 2stone of chips I would have kept that big cod. Lol
    It was a good day fish were small but fun.
    Next week I'll get you a bass when we go to lynmouth .

          Well done lads, fished ratty friday afternoon and had about a dozen good
          size whities, soon as it got dark we started catching little tommies.
