More of a non catch report
Now where do i start with this this is possibly the worst weekend of "fishing" ive ever had to say the least !!!!!!
Well then we went out on friday night up to hauxley and tried although weather wasnt playing ball i stood with rod in hand and back to the water decided to give up after the 1st chuck. The reel was full of sand and grit so had to be cleaned.
Because i didnt really get out on friday i was givin it a shot on saturday so sandwiches made flask full and bait in bucket i was off and away for the bus then wor lass rings and wants is to have what she calls "FAMILY TIME" so i came back and got dressed to go out for the day. We went to town and then she decides to say shes goin to the hospital to see her grandma so i was left on my own wishing i hadnt went back to the house and went down the pier. My mate phones and asks if i fancy a few hours on sunday, sorted finally im gonna get out.
Worst part of the weekend now :
Gets up on sunday then 10am me mate txts sayin he has a major hangover and cannit make it, never mind im goin anyway just means i have to get the bus. So decides to hit the pier although chocker i can fish the round head, gets off the bus in town then realised ive left me "warm" yet trendy hat on the bus i was gutted, away on the metro to shields i get off and instanly lnow what ive done i look in me left hand and guess what ??
Ive left me bloody bait bucket on the bus in town full of crab lug mussel and fresh blacks FUKKkKK !!!!!!!!
What do i do now ??? I had a walk along the pier anyway to see who was out 30 mins later ive arrived at the top of the pier and hardly any lads i know. I found 3 lugworm on the floor and decided to have a chuck. Woo hoo i managed a whitey at 36cm with found bait !! Got talkin to 3 lads on the south east corner and they asked why i was packing up (lack of bait) so the lads kindly gave me fresh crab rag and runnydown thanks lads !!
Unfortunatley i didnt catch anything else but thats fishing
If the lads are on nesa again thanks very much
So in 3 days i managed 1 whitey better than not getting out i suppose
Almost forgot i witnessed sean from shields club land an 8lb 14oz cod and a smaller one about 3lb
