just back from my favourite hole.used frozen blacks ,ended up with nice couple of fish, this the biggest, water must have only been a couple of foot deep ,i could see rocks sticking up in front of me ,think the fish must come right in to grub around the rocks for crabs ect, this fish had a big hard back in its belly.like fishing in a big rock pool really lol.always seem to do well at this hole, fished blyth last night and got nowt but weed.made up for it tonight though

caught on a new rod n reel i got this morning.bullet hi-flex and saltist 20

You are quite correct mate, 1 more worm in the hole will do no damage at all. On the other hand if the 600+ people who've read this post turn up to fish this hole then that'll be the end of the lads fave fishing spot

we were on Blyth pier fishing yesterday in a comp and it was dire. 6.30 - 10.30pm. I could see all the guys on the beach and was wondering why they bother. Never thought Cod would get that far in.
Anyway me and my mate are going to have a look out on Wednesday. I was fancying the rocks at Craster fishing into Gulleys.
                            Mick.
The above location might change depending on weather etc but its a place i have fancied going to for ages.
