Fished the Etive a couple of weekends ago, a poor weekend was had by all. Fished the priory Friday night for 3 hours, only thing caught was a starfish and a 3in codling......Saturday fished priory again for a couple of hours - nowt, moved to school mark for a few more hours - nowt again so ended up fishing dunstafnage castle - 1 dogfish and a small coalie...... so 3 people fishing and not impressed so far. Sunday morning we had a boat hired on the etive, not much doing there either, just 3 small and I mean small spurdogs......really really poor! But will we go back? Yes of course!! Weather was horrendous, it was the weekend after the northeast floods so we got the same weather up there as it went round the top of the country. Spoke to some locals and they were saying its fished poor most of the year.
