I've found 9 times out of 10, if you get a fish using a pulley pennel rig, you get your gear & the fish back.
If you don't hook into a fish, you can lose gear.
Luckily I only lost 4 sets last night but have lost much more than that.
Not that I know of Tony mate, I don't think any of our lads fished there last night.
A couple of the lads went to Alnmouth and I think they blanked.
A few were around the Howdiemont.
Willy Morton had 5 codling from the Haven (heaviest bag).
Steve Scott had the heaviest fish from Craster, I think it was around 4lb
All together there were 11 codling, 1 pollock (3lb 2.5oz from Dunstanburgh) & 1 flounder weighed in.
