  • Blyth Beach Saturday night 6/10/12 to Sunday 7/10/12

Fished Blyth beach 7pm till 5am , the sea was fairly calm so not very high expectations of catching anything .

    Fish caught

    9 Dabs
    6 whiting
    1 plaice

Bait used was Crab , Rag , Mackerel .
All fish caught on Rag and Mackeral nothing touched the Crab .

Lovely beach to fish from nice and clean first time I have been fishing and not lost gear on snags , don't know what was going on in the car park though lots of cars with there lights on all night .

Thanks to the lads on here who give me advice on where to fish this fantastic mark

All fish caught put back alive .

Will be back at this mark once the sea gets up a bit .
Its the early bird that gets the worm but the 2nd mouse that gets the cheese

It's a lovely beach, like you say... I've noticed the cars when fishing there and occasional dodgy-looking characters.. Someone told me they are 'Doggers' but when I explained that there aren't many dogfish to catch at the beach they just looked confused
        PBs...Cod 8lb2oz.. Turbot 3lb2oz.. Whiting 1lb8oz.. Coalie 1lb9oz.. Flounder 1lb7oz.. Dab 15oz.. Plaice 13oz.. Bass 1lb 6oz

the carpark at the bandstand quite often gets the chavs in there supped up corsas with the bean cans on the tail pipes when the local polis moves them on from the quayside!!
The only fish i want this year is a double figured cod!!!
