I had a drive down Whitburn today then to roker where I had me fish & chips. Was un-fishable with the wind plus sea was monstrous. Drove to Hendon prom and it was violent there. 3 lads pulled up to fish but turned round & went back the way they came. In my opinion I'd would be dangerous fishing in them conditions

Yep we are definitely getting the sloppy seconds of tropical hurricane Nadine. Might be a window to get out somewhere sheltered between 7 - 11 for hardcore fisherman tomorrow night

The small wall as in the end of shields pier?

How on earth you managed to get along there.

Hoping to get on the cormorants in the wear tomorrow night like, should be just about sheltered enough

If its owt like last night davey i wouldnt bother mate. Everywhere we tried was weeded up big time. Started at west bay then moved to the little beach beach by blyth pier even stopped at Blyth harbour and that was weeded up aswell. First couple of big seas of the season tho so gotta expect it really

Had a look at the inside of Tynemouth Pier last night. There was no chance. Been down this morning and still too big I'm afraid. Hoping it dies off a bit for a go tomorrow night, where's everyone going then? Fancy Newbiggin somewhere meself.
