After some disruption during the day the Saturday trip was on but we still had the problem of small tide's and flat sea's, so where to go OFC the beacons.

Got there at 8:30 and fished till 2am the end result was, me 4 cod 1 rockling best being 5 1/2lb. Robbie p 2 cod 1 lobster a rockling and a 3 1/2lb Pollock. Robbie G 1 very nice Dog fish

so all in all a nice trip, Bait used many many Peeler and squid for the doggie.

hi tommy1nat, the beacons is a headland just north of church point newbiggin, the mark itself will fish good and bad like any other, ive been there before and caught nowt.
As for bait crab best all rounder, the ground is quite rough so take a lot of tackle and i wouldn't recommend going there when there is a nice swell running. And if you can go during the day to scout it as it can be a very unforgiving place. maybe use google earth and have a look.

                happy hunting

                    Hi teamtrip,
im not sure if this is going to help but the place itself is a big outcrop of rock with no marks as such, ive had fish from north to south, if i get there and a spot is taken i just go to another, all i can really say that may be of any use is its shallow at the north end and deep at the south. the best bet for learning the location or any would be to go over sun, mon, tue and wed at low water when the tides are massive and you can scout locations, sorry i want much help.
