    Fished the roundhead for a change last night, from 5 til top of the tide.
    Bites from the off, nothing big, but had dabs, coleys, flounders, whiteys and a very very small codling. Mackie strip took all of the fish until dark, then only rag would take anything. two hook flapper on me bass rod, makes you think you have a monster, not 2 half pound whities. ha ha.
    all good fun, great weather, and possibly one of my best days at roker.
    lad next to me had a pollack about a pound on baited daylights, and another had a gurnard. Some mackie being caught, but not in any numbers.

    Canny session mate, are they still dredgering the bay, as going up
    the ratty back end of this week, probs friday. thanks.

          Cant help myself Duncan, i just love fishing the ratty, never had a blank on
          there yet, i see we are both out on north star next month with Mark & Lynn.
